The study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a training program based on cognitive strategies for emotional regulation in psychological immunity and academic self-efficacy among a sample of Al-Azhar University students. The study sample consisted of (25) female students (as an experimental group) enrolled in the first year (College of Education for Girls, Al-Azhar University in Cairo). Their ages ranged between (18-19) years, with a mean age of (18.9) and a standard deviation of (0.122). The training program was applied to them. The research used the measure of psychological immunity (prepared by the researcher). And the academic self-efficacy scale (prepared by the researcher). The training program based on adaptive cognitive strategies for emotion regulation was applied to the experimental group. The results indicated there are statistically significant differences between average grades of the experimental group members in pre and post measurements on both the psychological immunity scale, and the academic self-efficacy scale in favor of the post measurement. And there were no statistically significant differences between average grades of the experimental group members in the post and follow-up measurements on the psychological immunity scale and the academic self-efficacy scale.
