This study aimed at identifying students' attitudes towards recreational activities at Al-Aqsa University, the level of emotional stability and psychological empowerment, identify differences of following variables (sex, specialization, social status, academic average and academic level) and to know the relationship of between these variables. Study instruments (prepared by the researcher) were applied on a sample consisted of (408) male and female students. Results showed that the students' attitudes towards recreational activities as a whole were moderate except for social activities which were high and the handcraft activities were low. Results also revealed that the level of emotional stability was moderate, while the level of psychological empowerment was high, and there were differences in emotional stability in favor of males. Also, there were differences in the psychological empowerment in favor of females, while between the first, second and fourth level were in favor of the fourth. Moreover, results indicated that there was a significant relationship between students' attitudes towards recreational activities, emotional stability and psychological empowerment.
