The study aimed to reveal the relationship between the school environment and the mental health of the mentally handicapped and to determine the importance of inclusion for mentally handicapped children and the extent of its impact on improving the level of their mental health, and to identify the level of mental health of the mentally handicapped and their psychological characteristics. The study sample consists of 50 integrated mentally handicapped students aged between 8-11 years and their intelligence ranges from 56-70 on the Stanford Binet Scale, fourth or fifth picture, in general education schools in the Directorate of Education in Qalyubia Governorate. The study concluded that attention should be paid to developing the personal characteristics of students with disabilities who are integrated in public education schools. Adopting more effective teaching methods, and providing educational situations that help students with disabilities to realize and develop their personal characteristics. Providing a safe learning environment for students with disabilities who are integrated into public education schools. Helping students with disabilities to engage safely in the educational environment, and providing all support services. (Published abstract)
