The research objective is studying the reflection of residential ergonomic considerations for child with motor disabilities on mother's Household Risks Management, the sample included (85) mothers who have a 9-12 years old child with motor disabilities, they were chosen in a deliberate manner, from different social and economic levels from Cairo Governorate, research tools included (general data form, residential ergonomic considerations for child with motor scale, Household Risks Management scale), the research followed the analytical descriptive approach The results showed that most of the children with motor disabilities were diagnosed by infantile paralysis by 27.1% and most of the children were use crutches in the moving by 41.2, most of risks they face inside their home was electricity hazards which came in first place by 20.5%. The results statistically showed significant difference at the level of 0.05 - 0.01 in the ergonomic residential considerations of the children with motor disabilities according to some social and economic and housing variables in favor of parents with higher educational level, working mothers, smaller families, high income, non –rental housing, a child with private bedroom, and moderate crowding up. As well as statistically significant indicators in maternal household risk management among social & economic variables, and children variables in favor of parents with higher educational, non-working mothers, smaller families, higher income , male children, the longest disability duration, while no a statistical indicator in maternal household risk management was shown by child order variable. The results showed positive correlation statistically significant at the level (0.01), (0.05) between the ergonomic residential considerations for child with motor disabilities physically (physical, environmental dimensions) & maternal household risk management (readiness, confronting, evaluating threats). Results also showed that father’s educational level is the most influential factor in the ergonomic residential considerations, and mother’s educational level is the most influential factor in maternal household risk management.
