This study aimed to measure the level of Adaptation psychological and social adaptation among children who lost their mothers during the elementary grade in Gaza governorate and to identify the differences in the average psychological and social adaptation among children who lost their mothers during the elementary grade in Gaza Governorate. The method used: the descriptive analytical approach. The researcher used a psychological and social adjustment questionnaire. The study consisted of (50) male and female students from the elementary grade (in Gaza Governorate, Study results: the study showed that the level of psychological and social adaptation among children who lost their mothers reached 51.4%, which is a low level, and that the social adaptation was slightly greater than the psychological adaptation, as the relative weight for them was 52% and 50.9%, respectively. And the absence of statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 in the average social adaptation and the total degree of adjustment among children who lost their mothers is due to the gender, And the absence of statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 in the average psychological and social adaptation and the total degree of adaptation, among children who lost their mothers is due to the grade, And the absence of statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 in the average psychological and social adaptation and the total degree of adaptation among children without a mother due to the child's place of residence. The study recommends to provide psychological and social support to children who lost their mother, by the Ministry of Education. (Published abstract)
