The article aims to get to know the extent of familiarity of middle school students in Madinah with the requirements of security and safety in school buildings. The study employs the descriptive approach and questionnaire as a tool to collect the data. The sample of the study consists of (500) students. SPSS program has been sued to analyze and compute means, standard deviations, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The study concludes with the following results: 1) The researcher has come up with the most important safety and security requirements for middle school students in Madinah. These requirements relate to four areas, viz., site design, alarm systems, emergency exits, and meeting security and safety requirements in middle schools in Madinah at a low level. 2) The familiarity of middle school students in Madinah with security and safety requirements was low. 3) The familiarity of intermediate school students in Medina with safety and security requirements was medium. 4) There are statistically significant differences between the average response of the sample (male and female) students in the intermediate stage in Medinah to the questionnaires of security and safety requirements in favor of female students according to demographic variables.
