The study on the accreditation of teacher preparation programs in Arab countries aims at identifying the current status of the quality assurance and accreditation of teacher preparation programs in colleges of education at the regional and international levels. Furthermore, it strives for identifying the gaps in the current practices of teacher education accreditation in the Arab countries in the light of the current practices and global experiences. Subsequently, developing a guiding framework for designing accreditation systems for teacher education programs in the Arab countries. (Published abstract)
