The current study aimed at knowing (play and its effect on reducing sleep disturbance for children with hyperactivity), the study was conducted in Iraq / the holy province of Karbala, where the researcher adopted the descriptive approach as it is the appropriate approach for the research procedures, and the research community consisted of hyperactivity children in the elementary stage in the fifth grade and the sixth primary, to be the research sample, and to achieve this, the researcher adopted the sleep disorder scale prepared by (Kazem, 2014) and the scale consisted of (27) items distributed after extracting the discriminatory power of its paragraphs and after making sure of its validity and consistency, it was applied to a randomly selected sample by teachers composed of (100) primary school students for the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school in the holy province of Karbala for the academic year (2019-2020) divided into (30) hyperactivity students, and after extracting the psychometric characteristics from (truthfulness and stability) it was applied to the basic sample, and the researcher used the appropriate statistical means for the research procedures, including (Pearson correlation coefficient, chi square 2, t-test for one sample, paragraph discriminant factor), the results of the research showed the superiority of the group in the search in order to reduce their sleep disturbance, and in light of the results of the research, the researcher came up with a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals for research complementary to the current research, and the researcher concluded that the effect of play has an effect on children (hyperactivity) and on boys' sex as well as the presence of significant differences between boys, meaning that boys are more hyperactive (hyperactivity) than girls and recommends researcher educators and teachers use games to calm children (hyperactivity) in order to reduce their sleep disturbance.
