The purpose of this research was to find out how much preschool instructors and pre-service teachers in the early childhood department know about ADHD. The study sample consisted of (64) preschool teachers and (48) pre-service teachers. The Knowledge of Attention Deficit Disorder Scale (KADDS), by Scuitto et al., (2000) was used as a survey instrument to collect the data. The results indicated that both preschool teachers and pre-service teachers possessed high level of knowledge about ADHD. There were also statistically significant differences in the mean knowledge score of preschool teachers based on years of experience, age, and the type of preschool program. Also, for the benefit of preservice teachers, there were statistically significant variations in the mean score of knowledge that preschool instructors and preservice teachers have concerning ADHD.
