The aim of this study was to study the relationship between self-compassion and psychological resilience, and to identify the degree of self-compassion and psychological resilience in the sample. The study also aimed to study the differences between the high and low self-compassion in psychological resilience. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the measure of self-compassion from Arabization (Abdulrahman et al., 2015) and the psychological resilience index (Kully, 2016). The descriptive approach was used. The study was applied to a sample of 130 female students from Umm Al-Qura University. The study found that the sample was particularly compassionate and psychological resilience. There is also a statistically significant positive relationship between self-compassion and psychological resilience. There are statistically significant differences between high and low self-compassion in psychological resilience for the benefit of high levels of compassion. (Published abstract)
