التنبؤ بالتسامح من خلال الكفاءة الاجتماعية وتوكيد الذات لدى طلاب كلية التربية الأساسية بدولة الكويت



This study aimed to examine the nature of the correlation between tolerance, social competence and self- assertiveness, and examine the role of social competence and self-assertiveness in predicting tolerance, and the nature of differences in variables according to gender; the study used correlative descriptive approach and it is applied to a sample of (503) male and female students from the College of Basic Education at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait, with an average age of 21.11 years and a standard deviation of 1.96 years; Hartland Tolerance Scale, Ratus Self-Assertiveness Scale, and Social Competence Scale were applied to them: Arabization of Magdy Habib. The results showed a positive correlative statistically significant relation between the degrees of tolerance and self-assertiveness, and social competence, and showed the existence of statistically significant differences between the high and low to tolerance in both self-assertiveness and social competence in favor of the high, also found no significant differences between males and females in both social competence and tolerance; the existence of significant differences between them in self-assertiveness in favor of males, and it was found that the variable of social competence contributes statistically significant in the positive prediction of tolerance degrees among students.
