The study aims to clarify the relationship between emotional regulation and marital satisfaction, to achieve this goal, the research was carried out on a sample of (150) male and female teacher for (43)male and (107) female in a number of Sharqia Governorate schools and some of the post graduation students faculty of education, the following tools was applied : (emotional regulation scale preparation: Gratez & Roemer, 2004 translated by the researcher), marital satisfaction scale preparation: Hala Sakr, 2014) The most significant results were: There was a statistically significant positive correlation between some of emotion regulation dimension and marital satisfaction dimension, there were significant statistical differences between male and female teachers in emotion regulation dimensions and, there were significant statistical differences between male and female teachers in marital satisfaction dimensions.
