The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a program based on Emotional freedom technique (EFT) in reducing hyperactivity in children with autism spectrum disorder accompanied by hyperactivity, the study group consisted of (8) children with autism spectrum disorder who had hyperactivity, aged (5 - 8) years with an average of (6.5) years and a standard deviation (0.55), all of whom were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder of the simple degree at the Early Intervention Center at the Faculty of Kindergarten, Alexandria University, the semi-experimental curriculum with one group (experimental group) was used, and the study used the following tools: The Gilliam Scale of Estimate for Diagnosing Autism Disorder. (Arabization: Adel Abdullah Muhammad 2006), and the Coners Scale for determining the degree of hyperactivity and attention deficit. Autism (preparation: researcher), and after the non-parametric statistical treatment, the results revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements on the Coners scale at a significance level (0.05) in favor of the post- test, and there are no related differences. Statistical significance between the post- and the follow-up test (after a month has passed) on the Coners scale at the level of significance (0.05). (Published abstract)
