The study aimed at identifying the educational factors that discriminate between the outstanding students and the non-outstanding students in mathematics in the light of the results of the national evaluation study for the tenth grade (2016). The study sample includes 860 students, and it depends on the data that collected through the achievement test and the student questionnaire. After analyzing the data statistically, the study found the following results: 1) on the total sample level, seven factors discriminate between the outstanding students and the no outstanding students: participation in class activity, positive relationship with teachers and students, participation in non-class activity, positive attitudes toward mathematics, follow-up parents, and the effective of curriculum. 2) A number of factors were repeated in most of the study variables (gender and geographical area): participation of students in class and class activity, positive relationship with teachers and peers, and follow-up and attention of parents. In the light of the findings, the study recommended that attention should be given to the factors that contributed to the discrimination between outstanding students and non-outstanding students.
