المرونة النفسية وعلاقتها بالمهارات الاجتماعية لدى طلبة كلية العلوم الشرعية بسلطنة عمان



The aim of this research is to identify the degree of the psychological resilience and its relationship to the social skills of the students of the College of Sharia Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman. The total number of participants in this study was 279 students; 124 male students and 155 female students. The researcher used the psychological flexibility measure which consists of 40 items, and the social skills measure which consists of 45 items. In fact, the researcher has verified the truthiness and stability of both tools, and has made sure that both measures can be applied to this study. The research results have shown that the degree of the psychological resilience of the sample students is high. In fact, the average result for all the domains of the psychological resilience was 3.58; which is a high score. Also, the study has found out that the degree of the social skills of the sample students was high as well. The average result for all the domains of the social skills was 3.61; which is a high score as well. In addition, the research results have shown that there are no differences that have a significance level on the significance level of α≤ 0.05 in the degree of the psychological resilience and its relationship to the social skills of the students of the College of Sharia Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman which is related to the variables; the gender, the grade point average and the major. The research results have shown that there is a positive relationship with significance level on the significance level of α≤ 0.01 between the degrees of the psychological flexibility and the degrees of the social skills.
