This study aimed to develop a standard for educational supervision patterns and codify it for use in uncovering the prevailing patterns of educational supervision from the point of view of teachers and school principals in the West Bank. The analysis of the questionnaire according to the Guilford theory, and by the Kaiser-Mayer-Ulken and Bartlett test, it was found that there are five domains of the scale whose underlying root is more than one correct, and these domains (66.74%) of the total variance were interpreted. The latent structure of the Educational Supervision Patterns Scale, thus the scale consists in its final form of 47 items distributed into 5 domains, with a high internal consistency of the domains with total score of the educational supervision patterns scale, where the values of the correlation coefficients ranged between 0.908 - 0.957, were significant at (0.01). The validity of the differentiation of the scale was verified at (0.01). Stability was calculated (Kronbach Alpha), with (0.984). The validity was verified, at (0.01). The results showed that teachers agreed to a neutral degree on supervisors' practice of all supervision patterns, and to a large extent supervisors' practice of the creative supervision pattern, and in contrast, school principals largely agreed to supervisors' practice of all the aforementioned supervisory styles, and the differences between the arithmetic averages were not Statistical at (α = 0.05) on the first, third, fourth, and fifth domains, and the score according to the job variable, and found significant on the field of preventive supervision in favor of school principals, and the differences were not significant at (α = 0.05) in the arithmetic averages of all areas of the types of educational supervision and the total degree of gender. In light of results the study recommended adopting a measure of educational supervision patterns. (Published abstract)
