تتنوع التحديات العالمية التي تواجه عمليتي التعليم والتعلم ومن أهم هذه التحديات الثورة الصناعية الرابعة والتي تفرض تغيرات عميقة يجب التكيف معها بمنظومة تعليمية متكاملة، وبإطار مؤهلات مرن، بحيث يفتح الآفاق أمام الأجيال القادمة نحو التعليم المستمر، ومؤسسات تعليمية قادرة على مواكبة التطور التكنولوجي، وقيادة ومعلمون قادرون على إعداد طلابهم لمواكبة الثورة الصناعية الرابعة. سعى البحث إلى مناقشة جوانب التطوير التي ينبغي أن تحدث في المنظومة التعليمية بسلطنة عمان وذلك من خلال تناول المقصود بالثورة الصناعية الرابعة وأبرز خصائصها وانعكاساتها على منظومة التعليم ومدى تفاعل دول الوطن العربي مع متطلباتها، وطبيعة تفاعل سلطنة عمان معها من خلال رؤية عمان 2040 لمواكبة متطلبات الثورة الصناعية الرابعة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الثورة الصناعية الرابعة كما اخترقت جميع مجالات الحياة، فإنها ستحدث تغيرات عميقة في المنظومة التعليمية بجميع عناصرها، الأمر الذي يفرض على المعنيين بالتعليم في سلطنة عمان أدوار ومسئوليات وبالتالي آليات جديدة لتطوير منظومة التعليم من حيث تصميم إطار مؤهلات مرن ييسر الانتقال لسوق العمل ويعترف بالتعليم اللانظامي، وتطوير المؤسسات التعليمية من حيث البنية التحتية التكنولوجية، وبناء قدرات العاملين بها، وتطوير أدوار القيادات التعليمية وأدوار المعلمين وفق مفاهيم ومتطلبات الثورة الصناعية الرابعة، وتطوير المناهج بما يواكب مستجدات الثورة الصناعية الرابعة والخاصة بمجالات: الروبوتات، والذكاء الاصطناعي، وتكنولوجيا النانو، والحوسبة الكمومية، والتكنولوجيا الحيوية، وانترنت الأشياء (IoT)، والطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد، والمركبات المستقلة. The global challenges facing the teaching and learning process are varied, and the most important of these challenges is the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which imposes profound changes that must be adapted to an integrated educational system, and with a flexible qualifications framework, so as to open horizons for future generations towards continuing education, and educational institutions capable of keeping pace with technological development, leadership and teachers Are able to prepare their students for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The research sought to discuss aspects of development that should occur in the educational system in the Sultanate of Oman by addressing what is meant by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its most prominent characteristics and implications on the education system, the extent of the interaction of the countries of the Arab world with its requirements, and the nature of the interaction of the Sultanate of Oman with it through Oman Vision 2040 to keep pace with the requirements of The Fourth Industrial Revolution. The study concluded that the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as it penetrated all areas of life, will bring about profound changes in the educational system with all its elements, which imposes on those concerned with education in the Sultanate of Oman roles and responsibilities and thus new mechanisms to develop the education system in terms of designing a flexible qualifications framework that facilitates the transition to the market. Work and recognizes informal education, developing educational institutions in terms of technological infrastructure, building the capabilities of their employees, developing the roles of educational leaders and the roles of teachers in accordance with the concepts and requirements of the fourth industrial revolution, and developing curricula in line with the developments of the fourth industrial revolution in the fields of: robotics, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology, Quantum computing, biotechnology, Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, and autonomous vehicles.
