The effect of using flipped learning supported by the task analysis method on the level of cognitive achievement and performance of some defensive skills in handball for students of the Faculty of Physical Education. The progress of countries and peoples have become dependent on the efficiency of their educational systems and the extent to which they keep pace with scientific and technological developments. Therefore, science and technology policies must be fully integrated into the comprehensive processes of national educational planning, and educational technology is one of the basic pillars of state building in the modern era. E-learning technologies have emerged, spread, and have an important role in education. The current research aims to identify the effect of using flipped learning supported by the task analysis method on the level of cognitive achievement and performance of defensive skills in handball (defensive moves - defensive blocking wall - defensive interview), and the researcher used the experimental approach (experimental design for one group) The research community was represented by students of the teaching department, specializing in handball, and they were (65) students of the Faculty of Physical Education at Sohag University in the academic year 2020-2021 AD, and the research sample was represented in the number (30) students who were deliberately chosen randomly from among students of the research community The researcher used the cognitive achievement test, and skill performance tests. The most important results were that the educational program using flipped learning supported by the task analysis method has a positive effect on improving the level of cognitive achievement and on improving the level of defense skills under consideration (defensive moves- blocking wall- interview), and the most important recommendations were training those in charge of the educational process to use techniques. The use of the proposed educational program using flipped learning supported by the task analysis in teaching defensive handball skills, conducting other similar research to teach basic skills in various other sports.
