هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى العناد المتحدي لدى أطفال في مرحلة الطفولة المتوسطة وذلك من وجهة نظر أوليائهم وأيضا التعرف على الفروق في مستوى العناد المتحدي حسب متغيرات الجنس وعمل الأم. وقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المقارن، وبلغت عينة الدراسة 120 تلميذ من مدرسة عبد الحميد بن باديس ببلدية العمارية بولاية المدية، يدرسون السنة الثانية والثالثة إبتدائي، واعتمدتز الدراسة على مقياس العناد المتحدي لمجدي محمد الدسوقي، ومن أهم الأساليب الإحصائية المستخدمة: المتوسطات الحسابية، الانحراف المعياري، اختبار ت. ووصلت الدراسة للنتائج التالية: 1) مستوى العناد المتحدي منخفض لدى الأطفال من وجهة نظر أوليائهم. 2) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في سلوك العناد المتحدي تعزى لمتغير الجنس وعمل الأم. The study aimed to identify the level of oppositional defiant among children in middle childhood from the point of view of their parents and also to identify the differences in the level of oppositional defiant according to the variables of sex and the work of the mother. The researcher used the comparative descriptive approach, and the study sample reached 120 students from Abdel Hamid bin Badis School in the municipality Al-Omaria, in Medea state, they are studying the second and third year of primary school. The study relied on the oppositional defiant the scale of Majdi Mohammed Al-Desouki. And the study reached the following results: 1) The challenge level of oppositional defiant is low in children from the viewpoint of their parents. 2) There are no statistically significant differences in oppositional defiant behavior due to the variables of sex and the work of the mother.
