هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى التنور العلمي لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بقسم علم النفس جامعة المسيلة، وللتحقق من أسئلة الدراسة تم إستخدام إختبار التنور العلمي تطوير نواوره (2013) المكون من (58) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة أبعاد (فهم طبيعة العلم، معرفة المحتوى العلمي والتكنولوجي، تأثير العلم والتكنولوجيا على المجتمع) حيث تم التأكد من خصائصه السيكومترية (الصدق والثبات). طبقت على عينة مكونة من (30) أستاذ وأستاذة اختيروا بطريقة المسح الشامل. وأشارت النتائج إلى ما يلي: 1) مستوى التنور العلمي لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بدرجة متوسطة. 2) مستوى التنور العلمي لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بقسم علم النفس على بعد فهم طبيعة العلم بدرجة متوسطة. 3) مستوى التنور العلمي لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بقسم علم النفس على بعد معرفة المحتوى العلمي والتكنولوجي بدرجة متوسطة. 4) مستوى التنور العلمي لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بقسم علم النفس على بعد تأثير العلم والتكنولوجيا على المجتمع بدرجة متوسطة. وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة عقد ورشات عمل لأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بالجامعة لتنمية التنور العلمي حول موضوعات طبيعة العلم والتكنولوجيا وعلاقة العلم بالتكنولوجيا. This study aimed to identify the scientific literacy level among psychology department teachers at Msila University. In order to achieve its objectives, a tool was used scientific literacy test developed by Nawawreh (2013) consisting of (58) items distributed in three dimensions;(understand the nature of science, technology content, the impact of science and technology on society) after examining its psychometric characteristic (validity and reliability). Applied at a sample of (30) teachers, selected with comprehensive survey. The result indicated that: 1) The scientific literacy among psychology department teachers came in a medium level. 2) The scientific literacy level among psychology department teachers at understands the nature of science dimension was medium. 3) The scientific literacy level among psychology department teachers at technology content dimension was medium. 4) The scientific literacy level among psychology department teachers at the impact of science and technology on society dimension was medium. The study recommended the necessity of holding workshops for university faculty members to develop scientific literacy, on the topic of science and technology, and the relationship of science to technology, conducting more studies and research on the level of scientific literacy among faculty members in other disciplines and other fields and on different samples, such as university students.
