هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور مستشار التوجيه والإرشاد المدرسي والمهني في الحد من الفشل الدراسي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الثانوية من وجهة نظرهم. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، ومن خلال الإستبيان المعد من طرف الباحث والمصمم لقياس إتجاهات التلاميذ نحو هذا الدور. خلصت الدراسة إلى ما يلي: 1) يساهم مستشار التوجيه والإرشاد المدرسي والمهني في المساعدة على رفع مستوى التحصيل الدراسي. 2) يساهم مستشار التوجيه والإرشاد المدرسي والمهني في تعديل السلوكات الخاطئة المؤدية للفشل الدراسي. 3) يساهم مستشار التوجيه والإرشاد المدرسي والمهني في مواجهة المشاكل النفسية التي تؤدي للفشل الدراسي. The study aimed to identify the role of the school guidance counselor in reducing academic failure among secondary school students from their point of view. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach; and through the questionnaire prepared by the researcher and designed to measure the students’ attitudes towards role. The study concluded the following: 1) The school guidance counselor contributes to helping raise the level of academic achievement. 2) The school guidance counselor advisor contributes to modifying the wrong behaviors that lead to academic failure. 3) The school guidance counselor contributes to facing psychological problems that lead to academic failure.
