تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إختبار علاقة إدمان مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي بالتوافق الشخصي والأسري لدى الطالب الجامعي، وتحديد ما إذا كان هناك فروقا دالة إحصائيا في إدمان مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي وفي التوافق الشخصي والأسري تبعا لمتغيري الجنس والتخصص. تكونت عينة البحث من (174) طالبا وطالبة من جامعة وهران2، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث اعتمد الباحثان على المنهج الوصفي، كما صمما ثلاث مقاييس لجمع البيانات. وبعد المعالجة الإحصائية للبيانات باستخدام البرنامج الإحصائي للعلوم الإجتماعية (SPSS) الإصدار 20. أسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة إرتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائيا بين إدمان مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي وكل من التوافق الشخصي والأسري لدى الطالب الجامعي. كما أشارت النتائج أيضا إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور والإناث في التوافق الشخصي لصالح الإناث، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في إدمان مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي وفي التوافق الشخصي والأسري تعزى إلى متغير التخصص. This study aims at examining the relationship between social media addiction and personal and family adjustment among University student. It also aims at identifying whether there are statistically significant differences in social media addiction, personal and family adjustment due to the following variables: gender, specialization. The sample of this research was consisted of (174) male and female students from Oran2 University. To meet research goal, the researcher used descriptive method and developed three scales for data collection. After analyzing the data using the statistical packages for social sciences program (SPSS) version 20. The results of study show that there is a negative statistically significant correlation between social media addiction with both personal and family adjustment among University student. In addition, there are statistically significant differences between male and female in personal adjustment in favor of females. The results also indicate that there are no statistically significant differences regarding the social media addiction, personal and family adjustment according to specialization. (Published abstract)
