هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر التكنولوجيا الحديثة على دور القيادة الاستراتيجية في المؤسسات التعليمية، وما تواجهه القيادة الاستراتيجية من تحديات وعقبات في ظل المتطلبات الحديثة التي يفرضها العصر الرقمي من أجل التكيف معه. كما أوضحت الدراسة متطلبات مهارة جديدة يحتاجها العمل القيادي في المؤسسات التعليمية لتحقيق عوامل الجودة والمنافسة. استخدم في هذا البحث المنهج التحليلي الوصفي، حيث تتم فيه مناقشة الظواهر ووصفها بمنهجية دقيقة مع التحليل، وذلك من خلال عرض دراسات سابقة ومناقشتها، ثم الاعتماد على المنهج المقارن لمعرفة دور القيادة في المؤسسات التعليمية. وقد استخدم هذا النهج في هذا البحث لوصف وتحليل وتوضيح سبب تصاعد دور القيادة الغير التقليدية المعتمدة على الإبتكار والإبداع لتتلاءم مع العصر الرقمي الحديث، وكيفية مواجهة مستقبل يغلب عليه طابع التغير المفاجئ متأثرا بالسياقات المحيطة سريعاً. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج وتوصيات تفيد بأهمية مواجهة التحديات المعقدة لتحقيق التميز التنافسي بين المؤسسات التعليمية، وتفعيل دور أساليب التعليم الحديثة من خلال تنفيذ استراتيجيات القيادة الاستراتيجية المبنية على روح الإبداع والإبتكار، وأهمية تعلم المهارات القيادية اللازمة بجانب الإعتماد على وسائل تعليمية متطورة لمواكبة متطلبات العصر الرقمي الحديث. The study aimed to identify the impact of modern technology on the role of strategic leadership in educational institutions, besides the challenges and obstacles facing strategic leadership in respond to the modern requirements imposed by the digital age in order to adapt to it. The study also showed new skill requirements needed by the leadership work in educational institutions to achieve quality and competition factors. The descriptive analytical method was used in this research, in which phenomena are discussed and described in an accurate methodology with analysis, through presenting and discussing previous studies, then relying on the comparative approach to know the role of leadership in educational institutions. This approach has been used in this research to describe, analyze and clarify the reason why the role of unconventional leadership based on innovation and creativity has escalated to align with the modern digital age, and how to face a future dominated by sudden change affected by the surrounding events quickly. The study presents results and recommendations stating the importance of facing complex challenges to achieve competitive distinction between educational institutions, and activating the role of modern education methods by implementing strategic leadership strategies based on the spirit of creativity and innovation, and the importance of learning the necessary leadership skills as well as relying on advanced educational methods to keep pace with the requirements of the modern digital age.
