هدف البحث التعرف على مستوى الذكاء العاطفي ومستوى مفهوم الذات، وكذلك معرفة العلاقة بين هذين المتغيرين لدى عينة من طلبة الجامعة للصف الثاني لغة عربية في كلية التربية. بلغت عينة البحث (40) طالب وطالبة من طلبة الجامعة. تبنى الباحث مقياس الذكاء العاطفي الذي أعده (الجبوري، 2009) حيث قام الباحث بعرضه على مجموعة من المحكمين لاستخراج الصدق الظاهري له، وكذلك استخراج معامل الثبات من خلال طريقة إعادة الاختبار والذي بلغ (0.81) هذا بالنسبة للمتغير الأول، أما المتغير الثاني فقد قام الباحث ببناء مقياس لمفهوم الذات وهو جزء من المتطلبات الأساسية للبحث إذ يتكون المقياس بصورته الأولية من (50) فقرة، تم التحقق من الصدق الظاهري للمقاس من خلال عرض فقراته على مجموعة من المحكمين، وكذلك استخرج معامل الارتباط بين درجة كل فقرة مع الدرجة الكلية، وبذلك أصبح المقياس بصورته النهائية مكوّن من (47) فقرة بعد أن تم حذف ثلاث فقرات كان ارتباطها ضعيفاً، وقد تم حساب ثبات المقياس بطريقة إعادة الاختبار فبلغ (0.88) ويعد معامل ثبات جيد. وبعد استخراج الصدق والثبات للمتغيرين (الذكاء العاطفي ومفهوم الذات) قام الباحث بتطبيق المقياسين على عينة البحث الأساسية والمكونة من (40) طالب وطالبة من طلبة الجامعة، وبعد جمع استمارات المعلومات تم معالجة البيانات إحصائيا باستخدام (T- test) ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون. توصل الباحث إلى النتائج التالية: 1) مستوى مهارات الذكاء العاطفي لدى طلبة الجامعة إيجابي. 2) مستوى مفهوم الذات لدى طلبة الجامعة إيجابي. 3) وجود علاقة إيجابية بين الذكاء العاطفي ومفهوم الذات. ومن خلال النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث قدم عدداَ من التوصيات والمقترحات. The search aims to acquit the leader of emotional intelligence and the level of self-concept. Also, to Know the relationship between these two variables among a sample of university students, in the second class, Arabian language department in the college of education. The sample composed of (40) students. The researcher adopted the standard of emotional intelligence (prepared by aljubori, 2009) the researcher presented it to a group of referees to extract its outward truth also to extracts the stability coefficient through the approach of repeating test that be (0.81) For the first variable. With the second variable, the researcher built a standard for self-Concept as apart of essential requirement of this research. The standard composed, initially, of (50) items we assured of the outward truth of the standard by pruned it to a group of refers also finding the correlation coefficient between the degrees of every item with the whole degree. composed of (47) items, after excluding (3) items with weak correlation. The stability of the standard computed by repeating the test approach, when it was (0.88) and regarded as a good stability and the truth for the two variables (emotional intelligence and self-concept) the researcher applied the two measures on the research sample that composed or (40) university students Then the data processed by (T-test) and Pearson correlation so he concluded: 1) The university student level of emotional intelligence skills was positive. 2) The university student self-concept was positive. 3) There is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and self-concept through the results that the researcher reached he presented some recommendation and conclusions.
