يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على أثر أستخدام طريقة حل المشكلات في تنمية التفكير الأستدلالي والسلوك الإيثاري لدى طلبة الصف الثالث/ قسم الجغرافية في كلية التربية الأساسية للعام الدراسي 2010-2011 وشملت عينة البحث (23) طالبا وطالبة موزعين بطريقة عشوائية إلى مجموعتين المجموعة التجريبية وبلغ عددها (11) طالبا وطالبة تم تدريسهم بأستخدام طريقة حل المشكلات، والمجموعة الضابطة البالغ عددها (12) طالب وطالبة تم تدريسهم بالطريقة الأعتيادية، وقد تم تكافؤ مجموعتي البحث في المتغيرات الآتية: العمر والجنس والذكاء والأختبار القبلي للتفكير الأستدلالي والأختبار القبلي للسلوك الإيثاري وتطلب تحقيق أهداف البحث إعداد أداتين حيث قامت الباحثتان بإعداد أختبار التفكير الاستدلالي في مادة الجغرافية وقد تم عرضه على مجموعة من الخبراء في التربية وعلم النفس لإيجاد الصدق الظاهري للأداة وحسب الثبات بأستخدام معادلة كودر ريتشاردسون (20) وقد بلغ (0.81) وهو معامل ثبات عالي وأصبح الأختيار بصيغته النهائية مكونا من (15) فقرة من نوع الأختيار من متعدد، أما مقياس السلوك الإيثاري فقد أعتمد الباحثتان على المقياس المعد من قبل منخي (1995) وقد تم عرضه على مجموعة من الخبراء في أختصاص العلوم النفسية والتربوية وطرائق التدريس لإيجاد الصدق الظاهري وحسب الثبات بطريقة إعادة الأختبار (معامل أرتباط بيرسون) حيث بلغ (0.78) وهو معامل ثبات جيد وبأستعمال المعالجات الإحصائية المناسبة أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي تم تدريسها بطريقة حل المشكلات وفي ضوء نتائج البحث أوصت الباحثتان بضرورة أستخدام طريقة حل المشكلات في تدريس الجغرافية في كلية التربية الأساسية وأجراء المزيد من الدراسات تتناول متغيرات أخرى لم يتناولها البحث الحالي. The research aims at defining the effect of using problem solving method in developing inductive thinking and selfeshlessness behavior for third year students/department of geography at the college of basic education in geography for the academic year 2010-2011 the sample consisted of (23) students divided randomly into: experimental group of (11) who used problem solving students strategy and control group of (12) who used the traditional method. The equivalence between both groups was achieved in the following variables: age, gender, intelligence, pretest of inductive thinking and pretest of selfeshlessness behavior. In order to achieve the aims of the research, two tools were needed. The two researchers made a test of inductive thinking in geography and passed a panel of experts in education and psychology to extract surface validity of the tool stability was found using kuder-richards on (20) formula reading (0,81) a high stability factor the final form of the test consisted of (15) items of multiple choice. As for selfeshlessness behavior, the researchers used the scale made by Manh (1995) and was shown to panel of experts in educational psychology and methodologies experts to find its surface validity. Stability was found using re-test (pears on conjunction factor) reaching (0,78) which is good using the appropriate statistical means the results showed statistically significant difference in favor of experimental group who used problem solving method. Given these results, the researchers necessitate the use of problem-solving method in teaching geography in the college basic education and the need of further studies tackles issues that were not tackled in this research.
