استهدف البحث إلى التعرف على اثر استخدام أنموذج التحري الجماعي في تحصيل طالبات الصف الخامس الإعدادي في مادة الجغرافية وتنمية استطلاعهن الجغرافي. تكونت عينة البحث من (61) طالبة، من طالبات الصف الخامس الأدبي في اعداديتي صفية والزهور (للبنات) وزعوا عشوائيا إلى مجموعتين متكافئتين في متغيرات: العمر الزمني بالاشهر ودرجات الطالبات في مادة الجغرافية للصف السابق والمعدل العام للطالبات للصف السابق، إذ تم اختيار المجموعة التجريبية المتكونة من (31) طالبة والمجموعة الضابطة المتكونة من (30) طالبة، ولتحقيق هدف البحث أعدت الباحثة أداتين: الأولى اختبار تحصيلي، والثانية مقياس للاستطلاع الجغرافي، طبقت التجربة ابتدأ من (5/10/ 2008 ولغاية 5/1/2009) وبعد تحليل البيانات أظهرت النتائج: 1) وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات تحصيل طالبات مجموعتي البحث ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية. 2) وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات مجموعتي البحث في تنمية الاستطلاع الجغرافي ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وبناءا عليه قدمت الباحثة عددا من التوصيات والمقترحات. The research aims at investigating the impact of using group investigation model on fifth-grade preparatory female students achievement in Geography and develop their geographical find out. The sample consists of 61 fifth-grade literary female students from Safiya and Al-Zuhar preparatory schools for girls. The sample divided randomly into two groups. The groups were equivalent in some variables, viz.age, year, and their general mean score for the previous academic year. The experimental group includes of 31 female students. To fulfill the aim of the study, the researcher prepared two instruments. The firs were and achievement test in Geography, and the second was a geographical find out and ended on 5 th, Jan 2009. after analyzing the data statistically, the findings were: 1) There is a statistical significant difference between the mean sore of achievement for the two groups and for the benefit of the experimental groups. 2) There is a statistical significant difference between the mean score of the two groups in developing geographical find out for the benefit of the experimental group. Accordingly, the researcher set a number of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
