هدفت الدراسة معرفة أهمية التوجه نحو التعليم عن بعد بالجامعات الفلسطينية في ظل الجائحة. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم تحديد الجامعات الفلسطينية مجالا لتطبيق الدراسة. كشفت الدراسة بأنه وبالرغم من الظروف الاستثنائية التي يعيشها الشعب الفلسطيني إلا أن الجامعات الفلسطينية تمكنت من التعامل مع جائحة كوفيد19، واستطاعت تقديم خدماتها التعليمية لمختلف الطلبة والدارسين، كما أبرزت الدراسة أهمية الحاجة إلى التعليم عن بعد بالنسبة للجامعات الفلسطينية لأسباب عديدة، كما كشفت الدراسة عن ضعف البيئة الرقمية والتقنية الفلسطينية، وأن التعليم عن بعد أصبح واحدة من الأساليب المساندة للتعليم الوجاهي في فلسطين. أوصت الدراسة بضرورة نشر الثقافة الإلكترونية بين الطلبة ووضع خطط وبرامج تعزز عملية التعلم والاستفادة من التعليم عن بعد، وعقد الدورات التدريبية للعاملين والطلبة في هذا المجال. The study aimed to study the importance of moving towards distance education in Palestinian Universities in light of the pandemic. The study relied on the descriptive analytical method. The Palestinian Universities were identified as a field for the application of the study, the study revealed that despite the exceptional circumstances experienced by the Palestinian people, the Palestinian universities have been able to deal with the Covid19 pandemic and have been able to provide their educational services to various students and scholars. The study also highlighted the importance of the need for distance education for Palestinian universities for many reasons. The study also revealed weakness of the Palestinian digital and technical environment, and that distance education has become one of supporting methods for face-to-face education in Palestine. The study recommended the need to spread electronic culture among students and develop plans, and programs that enhance the learning process and benefit from distance education, and holding training courses for workers and students in this field.
