هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مدى فاعلية برنامج تدريبي يعتمد على القصص المصورة لتنمية الوعي البيئي لدى الأطفال المعاقين ذهنيا، تكونت عينة الدراسة من 20 طفل معاق ذهنيا تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين 9 و13 سنة ودرجة ذكائهم بين 55 إلى 70 درجة على سلم كولومبيا للذكاء، تم تقسيم أفراد العينة إلى مجموعتين متساويتين احدهما تجريبية طبق عليها البرنامج التدريبي والأخرى ضابطة لم تخضع لأي إجراء تدريبي. اعتمدت الباحثة في هذه الدراسة على استبيان لجمع البيانات حول السلوكيات البيئية الاطفال ومقياس السلوك البيئي للأطفال (لوفاء سلامة) لقياس مستوى أداء أفراد العينة قبل وبعد تطبيق البرنامج، إلى جانب ذلك طبقت الباحثة برنامج القصص المصورة الذي صمم من اجل تنمية الوعي البيئي (من إعداد الباحثة). وأوضحت نتائج الدراسة أن البرنامج المستخدم له فاعلية في تحسين مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى افراد المجموعة التجريبية. The present paper aims to study the role of image stories in the development of environmental awareness in children suffering from mental disabilities. The study included 20 children with mental disabilities between the ages of 9 and 13, and their intelligence ranged from 55 to 70 degrees (on the Columbia Mental Matury Scale). The children followed a training protocol that includes three successive phases: The first, the pre-test allows to evaluate the initial level of environmental awareness skills with standardized tests of the Child Environmental Behavior Assessment Scale (Wafa SALAMA), in the second phase we applied the learning program which consists in reassessing the level of environmental awareness. Research results indicate that there are differences in the average scores of children before and after the application of the learning program, these data show the effectiveness of the applied program.
