The study aimed at determining the role of educational supervisors in developing the leadership skills of primary school teachers in the southern governorates of Palestine and ways to develop it. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach, where she designed a questionnaire that included four areas (influencing others - creativity - development - initiative), The number of its paragraphs is (32) paragraphs, with (8) paragraphs for each field. The study population consisted of a sample of (380) individuals, including (180) male and (200) female teachers from the original community. The sample was chosen in a stratified random manner, and the researcher used the statistical package (SPSS) program to analyze the response of the sample members. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of teachers’ appreciation of the degree to which educational supervisors played their role in developing leadership skills due to the gender variable (male, female) with the exception of the field of developing initiative skill in favor of male teachers, while the results showed that there are Statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the three domains (creativity - development - initiative) with the exception of the field of developing the skill of influencing others due to the educational qualification variable, and the results showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the study sample to the degree to which educational supervisors perform their role in developing leadership skills for teachers of the basic stage in the southern governorates of Palestine due to the variable of the educational directorate study. The researcher recommends the importance of holding courses for teachers to explain to them how to employ leadership skills and using the principle of distributed leadership and delegation to teachers. The researcher also recommends publishing the CVs of creative teachers on the Ministry’s website and school pages and cooperating with the competent authorities to take approval to provide assistance to the local community in disasters and emergencies and to activate communication skills and effective communication in the school community.
