هدف البحث إلى تعرف واقع تنمية التفكير لدى طلاب التعليم العام في المملكة العربية السعودية من خلال عناصر منظومة تدريس العلوم من وجهة نظر الطلاب. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث اعدت الباحثة استبانة لدراسة مدى مساهمة منظومة مناهج تدريس العلوم في تنمية التفكير لدى طلاب التعليم العام في منطقة الشعف التابعة لإدارة تعليم عسير من وجهة نظرهم وتناولت الاستبانة الأبعاد التالية: (محتوى العلوم - معلم العلوم واستراتيجيات التدريس - مختبرات العلوم - أساليب تقويم العلوم) على عينة عشوائية بلغت 315 طالبا وطالبة من مجتمع البحث بالإضافة إلى ذلك قامت الباحثة بتحليل نتائج دراسات سابقة تناولت عناصر منظومة تدريس العلوم في المملكة العربية السعودية (محتوى العلوم - معلم العلوم - مداخل واستراتيجيات تدريس العلوم - مختبرات العلوم - وأساليب تقويم العلوم) تحليلا وصفيا، ومن خلال الاستبانة وتحليل نتائج الدراسات السابقة، أجابت الباحثة على سؤال البحث (ما واقع تنمية التفكير من خلال تدريس العلوم لدى طلاب التعليم العام في المملكة العربية السعودية) ثم قدم البحث مقترحات لتنمية التفكير وأجاب على السؤال الثاني (ما المقترحات لتنمية التفكير من خلال منظومة تدريس العلوم لدى طلاب التعليم العام في المملكة العربية السعودية). The aim of the current research is to know the reality of the development of thinking among students of public education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the elements of the science teaching system from the students’ point of view. The thinking of general education students in Al-Sha’af district of the Asir Education Department from their point of view. The questionnaire covered the following dimensions: (science content, science teacher and teaching strategies, science laboratories, science evaluation methods) on a random sample of 315 male and female students from the research community. The researcher analyzed the results of previous studies that dealt with the elements of the science teaching system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (science content, science teacher, approaches and strategies for teaching science, science laboratories, and methods of science evaluation) a descriptive analysis, and through a questionnaire and analysis of the results of previous studies, the researcher answered the research question (What is the reality of developing thinking through science teaching among general education students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?) Then the research presented proposals for developing thinking and answered the question.
