هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من أثر استخدام نموذج "5 E’s" التعليمي على تعلم طلاب المرحلة الثانوية لقواعد اللغة الإنجليزية. قام بتطبيق النموذج أثناء تدريس قواعد اللغة الإنجليزية عشرة من الطالب المعلمين خلال التدريب الميداني داخل خمس فصول في المرحلة الثانوية. استخدمت الدراسة استبيان التقييم النوعي الذي صممته الباحثة للتحقق من تحسن تعلم الطلاب لقواعد اللغة وكذلك لتقييم تطبيق النموذج في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية. أظهرت النتائج تحسناً ظاهراً في تعلم الطب لقواعد اللغة مما يثبت أنه يمكن استخدام نموذج "5 E’s" لتحسين التعلم في فصول تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية. وقدمت الدراسة أكثر من تطبيق تربوي للنموذج وأوصت باستخدامه لتحقيق أغراض تربوية متعددة في مجال تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of using the 5 E's instructional model on secondary stage students' grammar learning. The model was applied by ten prospective teachers in five secondary stage classes to teach English grammar. A qualitative assessment questionnaire designed by the researcher was used for investigating improvement in students' learning of grammar and for evaluating the application of the model in English teaching. Results showed significant improvement in students' learning of grammar which proves that the 5 E's instructional model can be used to enhance English learning in TEFL classes. (Published abstract)
