تهدف الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مفهوم التسامح والعقبات التي تقف حائلا في سبيل انتشار هذا المفهوم في المجتمع المصري، كما تهدف إلى معرفة أهم قيم التسامح في الفكر التربوي الإسلامي وضرورة نشرها في المجتمع، كما تم تقديم تصور مقترح لتعزيز قيم التسامح داخل الجامعات المصرية لمواجهة العنف المجتمعي .واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحليل بعض آيات القران الكريم وبعض الأحاديث النبوية الشريفة وبعض أقوال المفكرين التربويين حول قيم التسامح لاستنباط دلالات ذات مغزى تربوي. The study aims to reveal the concept of tolerance and the obstacles standing in the way of the spread of this concept in the Egyptian society, it also advertises the most important values of tolerance in the Islamic Educational thought and published in the community. It reveals a proposal to promote the values of tolerance within universities airline to face repressive violence. The descriptive approach adopted to analyze some of the verses of the Qur'an and the hadith Sharif and some of the sayings of educational THINKERS on the values of tolerance to develop meaningful indications.
