هدف البحث إلى تحديد واقع معلم التربية المهنية بمدارس الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة الدقهلية، وذلك لوضع إطار نظري حول الإطار المفاهيمي للتربية المهنية والأسس الفكرية لمعلمها وللكشف عن واقع المعلم ميدانيا. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي وتصميم استبانة كأداة بحثية طبقت على عينة عشوائية (329) معلما للتربية المهنية (المجالات العملية) بمدارس الحلقة الثانية بمحافظة الدقهلية. أهم النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها: أن معلم التربية المهنية هو معلم المجالات الثلاثة (المجال الصناعي، والمجال الزراعي، ومجال الاقتصاد المنزلي)، ويقوم المعلمون بتعليم (المجال الصناعي، الزراعي)، والمعلمات بتعليم (مجال الاقتصاد المنزلي)، ويغيب عن واقع معلم التربية المهنية بمدارس الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة الدقهلية، أن يتقن معلموا التربية المهنية مهارات تعليم المادة، وفهم أهداف المنهج وتنفيذه، واستخدام الطرق والأساليب الحديثة في التعليم، وفى النهاية قدم البحث مجموعة من المقترحات لتحسين واقع معلم التربية المهنية بمدارس الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي، ومساعدته علي تحقيق أهداف المادة. The current research aimed to determine the reality of the teacher of vocational education in the second cycle schools of the basic education in Dakahlia governorate, that to put a theoretical framework about the vocational education conceptual framework and the teacher's intellectual foundations in order to reveal the reality of that teacher on the field. For that, the researcher used the descriptive approach and designed a questionnaire as a research tool to achieve this goal, then applied to a random sample (329) of the teacher of vocational education (Practical fields) in the second cycle schools in Dakahlia governorate. The main results of the research were: the teacher of vocational education is the teacher of the three fields (industrial, agricultural, and home economics). The male teachers teach the (industrial, agricultural) fields and the female teachers teach the home economics field. The reality of the teacher of vocational education in the second cycle schools of the basic education in Dakahlia governorate lacks some points such as: the mastering of the teachers of vocational education to the teaching skills of the subject, the understanding of the curriculum's objectives and the implementation of them, and the using of modern methods and techniques of education. Finally, the research presented a set of proposals to improve the reality of the teacher of vocational education in the second cycle schools of the basic education and to help him to achieve the objectives of the subject.
