لقد أصبح الابتكار المؤسسي مطلباً حتمياً للجامعات السعودية لتحقيق التميز في أدائها المؤسسي بما يلبي توجهات رؤية المملكة 2030 وتطلعاتها في تحقيق الجامعات السعودية مراكز متقدمة في مصافي الجامعات العالمية، وهذه الدراسة سعت لتقديم تصوراً مقترحاً لتحقيق الابتكار المؤسسي في الجامعات السعودية في ضوء رؤية المملكة 2030، وذلك باستخدام المنهج الوصفي في استقراء مفهوم الابتكار المؤسسي وأهميته، وتحليل واقع الابتكار المؤسسي في الجامعات السعودية من خلال الأدبيات ونتائج الدراسات السابقة، وتوجهات رؤية المملكة 2030 في الابتكار المؤسسي، وقد أظهرت النتائج أن واقع الابتكار المؤسسي في الجامعات السعودية ما زال دون المستوى المطلوب في جميع مجالاته، بالإضافة على وجود بعض المعوقات والتحديات التي تواجه الجامعات في تطبيق الابتكار المؤسسي. وخلصت الدراسة إلى تقديم تصور مقترح لتحقيق الابتكار المؤسسي في الجامعات السعودية في ضوء رؤية المملكة 2030، وأوصت بالاستفادة من التصور المقترح ووضعه محل التنفيذ. Institutional innovation has become an inevitable requirement for Saudi universities to achieve excellence in their institutional performance to meet the trends of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its aspirations to enable Saudi universities to achieve advanced positions in the International Universities’ Ranks. This study aimed to introduce a proposed conception for developing the institutional innovation in Saudi universities in the light of the Kingdom’s vision 2030. A descriptive analytical methodology was used to extrapolate the concept of institutional innovation, its importance, and analyze its real context in Saudi universities through reviewing the related literature, findings of previous studies, and trends of the Kingdom’s vision 2030 in the institutional innovation. The findings showed that the real context of the institutional innovation in Saudi universities was still below the required level in all fields associated with some obstacles and challenges encountered universities when applying the institutional innovation. Finally, the study introduced a proposed conception for developing the institutional innovation in Saudi universities in the light of the Kingdom's vision 2030, and recommended making use and then applying this proposed conception.
