هدفت الدراسة إلى وضع تصور مقترح للتحول الرقمي بالجامعات المصرية إلى جامعات ذكية في ضوء ممارسات كل من جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية في الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجامعة تشينخوا في جمهورية الصين الشعبية بما يتفق مع ظروف المجتمع المصري، وذلك من خلال ما يلي: 1) التعرف على الأسس النظرية للتحول الرقمي للجامعات إلى جامعات ذكية في العالم المعاصر. 2) رصد الواقع الراهن للجهود المبذولة بالجامعات المصرية في مجال التحول الرقمي إلى جامعات ذكية في سياقها الثقافي. 3) الوقوف على خبرة التحول الرقمي في كل من جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية في الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجامعة تشينخوا في جمهورية الصين الشعبية إلى جامعات ذكية. 4) تحديد أوجه التشابه والاختلاف بين التحول الرقمي في كل من جامعتي المقارنة إلى جامعات ذكية في ضوء بعض مفاهيم العلوم الاجتماعية ذات العلاقة. 5) الوصول إلى تصور مقترح للتحول الرقمي بالجامعات المصرية إلى جامعات ذكية في ضوء ممارسات كل من جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية في الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجامعة تشينخوا في جمهورية الصين الشعبية بما يتفق مع ظروف المجتمع المصري. ولتحقيق ذلك استخدمت الدراسة المنهج المقارن. وانتهت الدراسة بمجموعة من النتائج، منها ما يلي: 1) ضعف الدعم المالي والمعنوي المقدم لأعضاء هيئة التدريس المشاركين في تحويل مقرراتهم بشكل إلكتروني في الجامعات المصرية. 2) تقوم جامعة تشينخوا بتركيب كاميرات عالية التقنية للتعرف على الوجه سواء بالنسبة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس أو الطلاب أو الموظفين، وتستخدم هذه الكاميرات بدلاً من بطاقات الهوية في دخول الجامعة وتسجيل الحضور. بينما تُظهر جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية ذكاءها من خلال أدوات التحكم في نظام الإضاءة وتكييف الهواء، وتحديد المواقع في الأماكن المغلقة. The aim of the study is to reach a proposed vision of digitalization of Egyptian universities into smart universities in the light of the practices of both the United Arab Emirates and China universities as it is consistent with the Egyptian community throughout the following steps: 1) Identification of the theoretical bases for the digital transformation of universities into smart universities in the contemporary world. 2) Monitoring the current Egyptian universities' efforts to digitalize into smart universities in their cultural context. 3) Studying the digital transformation experience in both Hamdan bin Muhammad Smart University in the United Arab Emirates and Tsinghua University in China. 4) Identifying similarities and differences between digital transformations in both comparative universities into smart universities according to some related social studies concepts. 5) To reach a proposed vision of digitalization of Egyptian universities into smart universities in the light of the practices of both the United Arab Emirates and China universities as it is consistent with the Egyptian community. The study depends on the comparative approach. The study concluded a set of results including: 1) The lack of financial and spiritual support provided for the university staff is one of the biggest hardships on the way to digitalize the Egyptian universities. 2) Tsinghua University uses high-quality surveillance cameras instead of identity cards to identify both the staff and the students. The same happens in Hamdan bin Muhammad Smart University; they use modern lighting and air conditioning and global positioning system. (Published abstract)
