تمثل القیادة المستدامة الیوم منهجًا قیاديًّا جدیدًا للرد على تحدیات القیادة التقلیدیة القائمة، التي لم تعد كافیة لمواجهة التحدیات الكبیرة والتعقیدات المتزایدة لمنظمات الأعمال؛ إذ إن القیادة المستدامة تدعو المنظمات إلى ضرورة التحوُّل من التركیز التقلیدي المتمثل بالتحكم بالتمویل والموارد البشریة إلى توجُّه المنظمات للمساهمة في التأثیرات البیئیة والاجتماعیة الأوسع، باعتماد منهج طویل الأجل یجعل تنمیة القادة التابعین جزءًا من عملیة التطویر التنظیمي والتأكید على أن تكون كل عناصر التنظیم داخليًّا وخارجيًّا مستدامة، وتركز القيادة المستدامة على التحسين المستمر داخل المدرسة؛ لذلك فهي تعد النمط القيادي المناسب الذي يساعد في تجويد الأداء المؤسسي، الأمر الذي یمكن المنظمات من تحقیق الأفضلیة على منافسیها. ويتمثل الهدف النهائي للبحث في: التوصُّل إلى مجموعة من الإجراءات لتطوير الممارسات القيادية لمديري مدارس الثانوية العامة في مصر على ضوء القيادة المستدامة. وانطلاقًا من طبيعة البحث، ومشكلته، وتحقيقًا لأهدافها، فإن البحث الحالي يعتمد على المنهج الوصفي، ويستعين البحث الحالي باستمارة لاستطلاع رأي خبراء الإدارة التربوية حول مجموعة الإجراءات التي يمكن من خلالها تطوير الممارسات القيادية لمديري مدارس الثانوية العامة في مصر على ضوء القيادة المستدامة هذا وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من الإجراءات المقترحة التي يمكن من خلالها تطوير الممارسات القيادية لمديري مدارس الثانوية العامة في مصر على ضوء القيادة المستدامة. Today, sustainable leadership represents a new leadership approach to respond to the existing challenges of traditional leadership, which is no longer sufficient to meet the great challenges and the increasing complexities of business organizations; As sustainable leadership calls for organizations to shift from the traditional focus of controlling finance and human resources, to the organizations’ orientation to contribute to the broader environmental and social impacts, by adopting a long-term approach, that helps in developing the subordinate leaders, as they are considered to be a part of the organizational development process, and emphasizing that all elements of the organization which are internal and external should be sustainable, as sustainable leadership focuses on continuous improvement within the school; Therefore, it is the appropriate leadership pattern that helps improving the institutional performance, which enables organizations to achieve an advantage over their competitors. The ultimate goal of the research is to reach a set of procedures to develop the leadership practices of general secondary school principals in Egypt in the light of sustainable leadership. Basing on the nature of the research, its problem, and to achieve its objectives, the current research relied on the Descriptive Methodology, it used a form to poll educational administration experts about a set of procedures through which it is possible to develop the leadership practices of general secondary school principals in Egypt in the light of sustainable leadership. The research has reached a set of suggested procedures through which it is possible to develop leadership practices for principals of general secondary schools in Egypt in the light of sustainable leadership.
