الخوف من الشفقة هو شعور الفرد بالتوتر والخوف من اظهار التعاطف والشفقة سواء نحو ذاته أو نحو الآخرين أو تلقيها من الآخرين، والذي يرجع ذلك إلى خبرات الفرد الصادمة والمؤلمة في مرحلة الطفولة وشعوره بالتعلق غير الآمن، ويترتب على شعور الفرد بالخوف من الشفقة، وجود صعوبة لديه في التعرف على مشاعره وتحديدها وتمييزها بشكل جيد وهو ما يعرف بالألكسيثيميا. ومن هنا هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على علاقة الخوف من الشفقة بالألكسيثيميا لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية من ذوي خبرات التعلق غير الآمن، حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من 197 طالب وطالبة (81 ذكر - 116 أنثى) من طلاب وطالبات الصفين الثاني والثالث الثانوي بمتوسط عمري 17.1 سنة وانحراف معياري 0.58 سنة، واستخدمت الدراسة مقياس الخوف من الشفقة (Gilbert et al., 2011 ; ترجمة الباحث)، مقياس تورنتو للألكسيثيميا "البلادة الوجدانية" للمراهقين والراشدين Toronto Alexithymia Scale (تعريب وتقنين كفافي وآخرون، 2020)، ومقياس خبرات التعلق غير الآمن (إعداد الباحث)، وأوضحت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين الخوف من الشفقة والألكسيثيما، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين الخوف من الشفقة وخبرات التعلق غير الآمن، الخوف من الشفقة منبئ موجب للألكسيثيميا (نسبة التباين 63.9٪)، كما أن خبرات التعلق غير الآمن منبئ موجب للخوف من الشفقة (نسبة التباين 70.5٪)، الإناث أكثر خوفا من الشفقة من الذكور. Fear of compassion refer to individual's feeling of tension and fear of showing sympathy and compassion towards himself or others, or receiving it from others, this is due to the traumatic and painful experiences of the individual in childhood and his feeling of insecure attachment, as a result of the individual’s feeling of fear of compassion, he has difficulty recognizing, identifying and distinguishing his feelings, which is known as alexithymia. This study aimed at defining the relationship between fear of compassion and alexithymia for 2nd and 3rd graders of secondary stage students with insecure attachment experiments. Sample of the study were (197) students (81 male and 116 females). Their age mean was 17.1 years old with 0.58 std. The study used fear of compassion scale (Gilbert et al., 2011), Toronto alexithymia scale (Kafafy et al., 2020) and insecure attachment experiences (prepared by the researcher). Results indicated that there was a positive relationship between fear of compassion and alexithymia. Results also indicated that there was a positive relationship between the fear of compassion and insecure attachment experiments. The fear of compassion were positive predictions of alexithymia (variance = 63.9 %) and insecure attachment experiments were positive predictions of fear of compassion (variance= 70.5%); and girls were more fear of compassion than boys.
