يبدو للمتابع أن الشائعات قد تنتشر على نطاق واسع لأسباب عديدة، وقد تتصاعد إلى مستوى يصعب فيه التمييز بين الصواب والخطأ، وأن هذه الشائعات قد تسبب اضطراباً أخلاقياً، وأن المتعلمين الكبار يعانون منها مما يحتم مكافحتها. لذلك تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر برنامج تدريبي مقترح لمكافحة الشائعات في تنمية مهارات التفكير التحليلي التي يحتاجها المتعلمون الكبار للتعامل معها. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكونت عينتها من 47 متعلماً. استخدم الباحث استبانة مكونة من 24 جملة على ثلاثة محاور لقياس الفاعلية . وأثبتت النتائج فاعلية البرنامج، ومن توصياتها: أن تراعي برامج تعليم الكبار احتياجاتهم، وتحرص على غرس القيم الإيجابية، وتدفعهم للبحث والاستفسار للوصول إلى الإجابات الصحيحة، وتنويع طرائق التدريس، والتركيز على الفهم والتطبيق، والتدريب على المناقشة لمعرفة الحقيقة. Rumors can spread so widely, escalate to a level where it is difficult to distinguish right from wrong, and cause moral disorders and affect adult learners. Therefore, this study aims to explore the effectiveness of a training program to combat rumors in developing the analytical thinking skills that adult learners need to deal with. The study adopted the descriptive analytical and quasi-experimental methods, and its sample consisted of 47 learners. A 24-item questionnaire covering three domains was used; as an effectiveness scale. Findings revealed the program effectiveness. Recommendations indicate that adult education programs should take into account the leaners’ cognitive needs, instill positive values, and encourage research orientations towards the topic to reach the correct answers, differentiate teaching methods, and provide for appropriate thinking processes.
