تجلت أهمية البحث من خلال وضع دراسة تحليليه لواقع إقامة البطولات المدرسية في مديريات تربيات محافظة بغداد أذ أن هناك عدة عوامل أدت لمعوقات كثيرة أمام إقامة السباقات المدرسية والتعرف على نقاط القوة والضعف وأهم التحديات التي تواجه إقامة البطولات وقد استخدم الباحثان المنهج المسحي على عينة (196) من مشرفي التربية الرياضية من أقسام النشاط الرياضي والكشفي لتربيات بغداد إذ تم اختيار عينة البحث بالطريقة العشوائية مقسمة إلى عينتين عينة أولى والبالغ عددهم (82) لعينة البناء و(114) لعينة التطبيق وتم تصميم استمارة استبيان تحتوي على (4) محاور كل محور يحتوي على عدة فقرات تضمنت جوانب عديدة على وفق نظام (SWOC) وبعد توزيع الاستبيان وجمع النتائج توصل الباحثان إلى الاستنتاجات الآتية: حقق محور الفرص للبيئة الخارجية نتائج إيجابية وكان عاملا مساعدا أمام إقامة البطولات المدرسية وأن نقاط القوة للبيئة الداخلية كانت بمستوى منخفض وكان عائقا أمام إقامة البطولات المدرسية. The research significance was demonstrated through the development of an analytical study of the reality of school holding tournaments in the districts of Baghdad governorate since there are several factors that have led to many obstacles in front of the establishment of school competitions and to identify the strengths and weaknesses and the most important challenges facing the establishment of championships. The researchers used the survey method on (596) sample of the Supervisors of Physical Education from the Sports and Scouting Activities departments of Baghdad Education. The research sample was selected randomly, divided into two samples. The first sample is (78) for the constructing sample and (551) for the application sample. Several items included many aspects according to the (SWOC) system. After distributing the questionnaire and collecting the results, the two researchers reached the following conclusions: The Opportunities axis for the external environment achieved positive results and was a catalyst for the establishment of school championships and that the strengths of the internal environment were at a low level and was an obstacle to holding school championships.
