هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى الكفاءة الانفعالية لدى الطلبة المتفوقين بمدينة الطائف، والتعرف على مستوى الكفاءة الانفعالية لدى الطلاب المتفوقين في المرحلة الثانوية وفقاً للسنة الدراسية، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وبلغ حجم العينة (520) طالب من الطلبة المتفوقين في المرحلة الثانوية في مدينة الطائف، وبلغ عدد طالب الصف الأول الثانوي (156) وطلاب الصف الثاني الثانوي (184) وطلاب الصف الثالث الثانوي (180). ولغرض التحقق من النتائج، قام الباحثان بإعادة بناء مقياس الكفاءة الانفعالية لـ (عباس، 2019)، وتم اختيار العينة بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية لطلاب المراحل الثانوية الثلاث. وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن مستوى الكفاءة الانفعالية لدى الطلبة المتفوقين جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، كما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر السنة الدراسية في الكفاءة الانفعالية لطلاب الصف الاول الثانوي. The study aimed identify to the level of emotional competence among outstanding students in the secondary stage, It aimed to identify the level of emotional competence among outstanding students in the secondary stage according to the school, the study used the descriptive approach, the sample size was (520) outstanding students in the secondary stage in the city of Taif: the number of first-year secondary students was (156), the number of second-year secondary students (184) and the number of third-year secondary students (180). And for the purpose of verifying the results, the researchers reconstructed the emotional efficiency scale for (Abbas, 2019), The sample was chosen by a random stratified method from the students of the three secondary stages. The results showed that the level of emotional competence among outstanding students reached a medium degree, there are statistically significant differences due to the effect of the school year on emotional efficiency in for students of first-year secondary students.
