هدف البحث إلى معرفة درجة مشاركة معلمي التربية الفنية في عملية اتخاذ القرار المدرسي بمدارس المرحلة المتوسطة في الجهراء، ومعرفة الفروق بين إجابات المعلمين تبعا لمتغيرات البحث: (الجنس، سنوات الخبرة، المؤهل العلمي). واعتمد الباحثان على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وشملت عينة البحث (62) معلما ومعلمة تربية فنية في محافظة الجهراء، وقام الباحثان ببناء أداة استبانة مكونة من (24) بندا، وموزعة على ثلاثة أبعاد، ومن أهم النتائج: 1) إن قيمة المتوسط للبعد الأول، وهو المشاركة بعملية اتخاذ القرار المدرسي الذي يخص الإدارة المدرسية (1.82)، وهي تقع ضمن التقدير المتوسط. 2) إن قيمة المتوسط للبعد الثاني، وهو المشاركة بعملية اتخاذ القرار المدرسي الذي يخص المعلمين (1.89) وهي تقع ضمن التقدير المتوسط. 3) إن قيمة المتوسط للبعد الثالث، وهو المشاركة بعملية اتخاذ القرار المدرسي الذي يخص التلاميذ، وأولياء أمورهم (1.98) وهي تقع ضمن التقدير المتوسط. 4) لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات إجابات المعلمين على استبانة البحث تعزى إلى متغيرات (الجنس - المؤهل العلمي - سنوات الخبرة). وتوصل البحث إلى عدد من المقترحات، ومن أهمها: 1) ضرورة إشراك المعلمين عموما، ومعلمي التربية الفنية خصوصا بعلمية اتخاذ القرار المدرسي كون المشاركة تؤدي إلى اتخاذ قرارات مناسبة للجميع، وذلك يسهم بتحقيق الأهداف بالشكل الأمثل. 2) تدريب مديري المدارس على المنهجية العلمية لاتخاذ القرار المدرسي. 3) التدريب على آليات العمل التشاركية. The objective of the research is to know the degree of the participation of art education teachers in school decision-making process in schools (intermediate stage) in Jahra from the point of view of art education teachers, and know the differences between the teacher answers depending on variables: (gender, years of experience, qualification). The researchers adopted a descriptive analytical method, and the sample contained (62) members from art education teachers in intermediate schools in Jahra so the researchers built his tools of questioner on (24) items distributed on four dimensions, and the most important results: 1) The results showed that the average value of the first dimension, which is participation in the school decision-making process that concerns the school administration (1.82), falls within the average estimate. 2) The results showed that the average value of the second dimension, which is participation in the school decision-making process that concerns teachers (1.89), falls within the average estimate. 3) The results showed that the average value of the third dimension, which is participation in the school decision-making process that concerns the students and their parents (1.98), falls within the average estimate. 4) There are not significant differences between the averages responses teachers on the research questionnaire based on variables (gender, qualification, years of experience). The research reached number of suggestions, these are some important ones: 1) The need to involve teachers in general, and teachers of art education, especially the process of school decision-making, because participation leads to appropriate decisions for all, and that contributes to the achievement of goals optimally. 2) Training principals on the scientific methodology for school decision-making. 3) Training on participatory work mechanisms.
