هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن امتلاك معلمات الرياضيات في المرحلة المتوسطة لعادات العقل، وعلاقتها بالممارسات التدريسية اللازمة لتنميتها لدى طالباتهن. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، والمنهج الارتباطي، وبطاقة الملاحظة، ومقياس عادات العقل أدوات له، وقد تكونت عينته من (30) معلمة من معلمات الرياضيات تم اختيارهن بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة من مدارس التعليم العام في محافظة حفر الباطن. وأظهرت أهم نتائجه: أن مستوى امتلاك معلمات الرياضيات لعادات العقل من وجهة نظرهن عال، وأن مستوى تطبيق معلمات الرياضيات للممارسات التدريسية اللازمة لتنمية عادات العقل لدى طالباتهن منخفض، وجاءت العلاقة الارتباطية بين مستوى امتلاك معلمات الرياضيات لعادات العقل ومستوى تطبيقهن للممارسات التدريسية اللازمة لتنميتها لدى طالباتهن موجبة ودالة إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة (0,01). وفي ضوء نتائج البحث تم تقديم بعض التوصيات. This study investigated aimed at examining intermediate stage female mathematics teachers’ acquisition of habits of mind, and the correlation between these habits and teachers’ teaching practices necessary to develop students’ habits of mind. The research followed the descriptive survey and correlational methods. The research employed two tools; namely, observation card, and the habits of mind scale. The research sample consisted of (30) female mathematics teachers, selected using simple random sampling from public schools at Hafar AlBatin. The research found the following findings: mathematics teachers rated their acquisition level of habits of mind as high female mathematics teachers’, and application level of teaching practices necessary to develop students’ habits of mind was low, and there was a positive and statistically significant correlation between teachers’ acquisition level of habits of mind and application level of teaching practices necessary to develop students’ habits of mind , the research highlighted several recommendations.
