هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرّف فاعلية وحدة تدريسية في القضايا الأخلاقية بمقرر اللغة العربية قائمة على توظيف التراث الثقافي غير المادي لتنمية مستويات عمق المعرفة والانهماك القرائي لدى طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي، ولتحقيق هدف البحث تم بناء اختبار عمق المعرفة ومقياس الانهماك القرائي المعرفي ، وتم تطبيق ذلك على عينة من طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي العام بمدرسة الشعراوي الثانوية للبنات بمدينة الخارجة بالوادي الجديد، بلغ عددهن خمسين طالبة، وقد أسفرت نتائج البحث عن فرق دال إحصائيا بين متوسطي درجات التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي للاختبار والمقياس لصالح التطبيق البعدي للمجموعة التجريبية، حيث إن البحث قد أخذ بالتصميم التجريبي ذي المجموعة الواحدة، وقد جاءت الفروق بين نتائج التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي للمجموعة التجريبية في اختبار عمق المعرفة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة (0.01)، ومقياس الانهماك القرائي المعرفي دالة عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) لصالح التطبيق البعدي، وهذا يدل على فاعلية الوحدة المقترحة في تنمية مستويات عمق المعرفة والانهماك القرائي المعرفي لطلاب الصف الأول الثانوي العام ، وقد طرح البحث مجموعة من التوصيات كان منها: ضرورة الاهتمام بتنمية مستويات عمق المعرفة لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية مواكبة مع التطورات الحديثة في المنظومة التعليمية المصرية. The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a teaching unit in ethical issues based on the intangible heritage to develop levels of depth of knowledge and reading engagement among first year secondary students. To achieve the goal, a depth of knowledge test and a reading-cognitive engagement scale were designed, it was applied to a sample of (50) students in the first year of Al Shaarawy Secondary School for Girls in Kharga City in the New Valley. It was concluded that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the pre and post applications of the test and the scale in favor of the post application of the experimental group. As the research has taken the one-group experimental design, the differences between the results of the two applications before and after the experimental group in the depth of knowledge test were statistically significant at the level of (0.01). The cognitive reading engagement scale is significant at the level of (0.01) in favor of the dimensional application, and this indicates the effectiveness of the proposed unit in developing the levels of depth of knowledge and reading cognitive engagement for first year secondary students, The study suggests a set of recommendations, including: the need to pay attention to develop the levels of depth of knowledge among secondary school Students.
