يهدف البحث إلى تشخيص الآثار الإيجابية والسلبية لجائحة كورونا المستجد على الأسرة من الناحية الاجتماعية والنفسية، من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس بعمادة السنة التحضيرية بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل، وتحديد ما إذا كان هناك فروق إحصائيا في الآثار الاجتماعية والنفسية لجائحة كورونا على الأسرة ترجع لمتغير (الجنس، الحالة الاجتماعية، الجنسية، سنوات الخبرة، الدور في الأسرة). واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي مع تطبيق استبانه على عينة 167 عضو، توصلت إلى عدة نتائج أبرزها، وجود آثار اجتماعية إيجابية على الأسرة، تتمثل في إعلاء شأن القيم المجتمعية، كالتضامن والإحساس بالمسؤولية والتكافل. وعلى الجانب النفسي، كانت بمثابة فرصة لزيادة أوقات العبادة وذكر الله وانعكاس ذلك على الراحة النفسية لدى الأسرة. أما أبرز الآثار السلبية لجائحة كورونا على الأسرة على الجانب النفسي: ارتفاع نسبة القلق والأرق والضيق النفسي لدى الأباء والأبناء، لاتباع نظام التعلم عن بعد، وغلق المدراس، وتطبيق الاختبارات الإلكترونية، وقلق التخرج أثناء الجائحة، أما الآثار الاجتماعية السلبية للجائحة فكانت أقل ضررا من الآثار النفسية. Research aims to diagnose the positive and negative effects of the new Corona pandemic on the family from the social and psychological, from the viewpoint of the faculty members of the Deanship of the Preparatory Year at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, and determine whether there are statistical differences in the social and psychological effects of the pandemic on the family refer to a variable (gender, marital status, nationality, years of experience, role in the family). It relied on the descriptive approach with applying a questionnaire to a sample of 167 faculty members of the Deanship of the Preparatory Year. It reached several results, the most prominent of which is the existence of positive social effects on the family, represented in upholding societal values, such as solidarity, a sense of responsibility and solidarity. And on the psychological side: it was an opportunity to increase the times of worship and the remembrance of God and its reflection on the psychological comfort of the family. As for the most prominent negative effects of the pandemic on the family: On the psychological side, most notably: the high rate of anxiety, insomnia, and psychological distress among parents and children, from closing schools and following the distance learning system, applying electronic exams, and graduating anxiety during the pandemic, As for the negative social effects of the pandemic, they were less harmful than the psychological effects.
