هدف البحث الحالي إلى تحديد فاعلية استخدام مدخل تفكير النظم Systems thinking في تعلم الكيمياء لتنمية مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة لدى طلاب شعبة الكيمياء في كليات التربية؛ ولتحقيق ذلك تم تحديد مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة التي ينبغي تنميتها، وإعداد اختبار مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة في الكيمياء، وبناء موضوعات الكيمياء البيئية وفقا لمدخل تفكير النظم، وإعداد دليل المحاضر لتدريس الموضوعات وفقا لمدخل تفكير النظم. وتم تطبيق اختبار مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة على مجموعة الدراسة التي تضمنت 43 طالب وطالبة من طلاب الفرقة الثالثة شعبة الكيمياء بكلية التربية جامعة بنها، ثم تدريس موضوعات في الكيمياء البيئية وفقا لمدخل تفكير النظم وبعد الانتهاء تم تطبيق الاختبار بعديا. وأوضحت نتائج البحث وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة 0.01 بين متوسط درجات التطبيق القبلي والتطبيق البعدي للمهارات الفرعية التي يتضمنها اختبار مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة في الكيمياء وكذلك الدرجة الكلية. ووجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة 0.01 بين متوسط درجات التطبيق القبلي والتطبيق البعدي للمهارات الرئيسة وكذلك الدرجة الكلية لاختبار مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة في الكيمياء. وفاعلية استخدام مدخل تفكير النظم في تعلم الكيمياء لتنمية مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة لدى طلاب شعبة الكيمياء في كليات التربية. The present research investigated the effectiveness of using systems thinking approach in chemistry learning on developing higher order thinking skills among chemistry department students at faculty of education. The participants of the study consisted of forty-three students enrolled in third year chemistry department. The instrument of the study included higher order thinking skills test in chemistry. The test was applied to the participants before and after the intervention. The results showed that: 1) There is a statistically difference (on 0.01 level of significance) between the mean scores of the pre and post administration of the higher order thinking skills (sub skills) and the total score on the higher order thinking skills test in chemistry in favor of the post administration. 2) There is a statistically difference (on 0.01 level of significance) between the mean scores of the pre and post administration of the higher order thinking skills (main skills) and the total score on the higher order thinking skills test in chemistry in favor of the post administration. 3) The effectiveness of using systems thinking approach in chemistry learning on developing higher order thinking skills among chemistry department students at faculty of education.
