هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة أهم المشكلات وأكثرها شيوعا لدى الطلاب المتفوقين عقليا من وجهة نظرهم، كما تهدف إلى معرفة أثر متغيرات كل من: (الجنس، التخصص العلمي) على درجة وجود تلك المشكلات التي تضمنتها أداة الدراسة. وأسفرت الدراسة عن عدة نتائج من أهمها: أن أهم هناك عدة مشكلات تواجه الطلبة بشكل عام أهم ثلاث مشكلات التوالي هي: يزعجني غموض المستقبل، لا تمثل المواد الدراسية تحديا لقدراتي، ليس لدي فكرة عن الكليات أو المعاهد التي تناسب قدراتي، كما برزت عدة مشكلات أخرى اختلف ترتيبها بحسب متغيرات الدراسة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المشكلات بين الطلبة حسب الجنس لصالح الذكور؛ وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المشكلات الطلابية حسب التخصص. The aim of this study is to identify the most important and most common problems among the mentally gifted student from their point of view. The study resulted in several results of the most important: that the most important there are several problems facing students in general. The three most important problems in a row are: I am troubled by the ambiguity of the future, the subjects are not a challenge to my abilities, I have no idea about the colleges or institutes that fit my abilities, as several other problems have emerged. The order of the study varied according to the study variables. The study found that there were statistically significant differences in problems among students by sex in favor of males. There are no statistically significant differences in student problems by specialization. (Published abstract)
