تهدف الدراسة الكشف عن تباين الكفاءة الاجتماعية كمحدد سيكولوجي للأطفال ضعاف السمع - بتباين كل من (النوع، المستوى الاقتصادي والاجتماعي)، فضلا عن قدرة الكفاءة الاجتماعية على التنبؤ بتمكين الذات للأطفال ضعاف السمع ولتحقيق الهدف طبق مقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية (إعداد الباحثان)، وقائمة المستوى الاقتصادي والاجتماعي (إعداد حمدي ياسين، رزان كردي، 2011) على عينة (ن=27) من الأطفال ضعاف السمع ممن تتراوح أعمارهم بين (12-13) عاما، بغزة، وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود تأثير للكفاءة الاجتماعية كمحدد سيكولوجي للأطفال ضعاف السمع، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الكفاءة الاجتماعية كمحدد سيكولوجي تبعاً للمتغيرات الديموغرافية (النوع، المستوى الاقتصادي والاجتماعي) للأطفال ضعاف السمع في مركز أطفالنا للصم بمحافظة غزة على مقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية. The study aimed to reveal the variation in social competence as a psychological determinant for children with hearing impairment, in terms of both (gender, economic and social level), as well as the ability of social competence to predict self-empowerment for children with hearing impairments, and to achieve the goal, apply the social competency scale (prepared by the researchers), and the list of the socioeconomic level, on a sample (n=27) of hearing impaired, between the ages (12-13) years. The results indicated that there was no effect on the social competence as a psychological determinant of hearing impaired, and that there are no statistical differences in the social competence as a psychological determinant according to demographic variables (gender- social status) hearing impaired on the scale of the social competence.
