The current research aims to identify (the obstacles to the use of educational aids in teaching mathematics for the fifth grade of elementary school from the viewpoint of teachers), the research sample consisted of (60) male and female teachers from the second Rusafa Education Directorate in Baghdad, the research tool was a questionnaire consisting of (25) paragraphs Divided into four areas, the researcher processed data using the weighted mean and percentage weight, and the Pearson correlation coefficient, the results of the research showed that the first place was for the field of obstacles related to the availability of educational methods and their validity, the second for the field of obstacles related to the teacher, and the third for the field of obstacles related to students, and the fourth For the field of obstacles related to school administration.
