تندرج هذه المساهمة في المجال الواسع لعلم اللسانيات الاجتماعية، فهي تهتم بتحليل تناوب اللغات عند أساتذة اللغة الفرنسية في الجامعات. في كثير من الحالات، يلجأ الأساتذة إلى استخدام لغات أخرى غير اللغة الهدف في تدخلاتهم مع الطلبة. في هذه الدراسة، حاولنا فحص اللغات المختلفة الموجودة في الفصل بالإضافة إلى أنواع ووظائف التناوب اللغوي. من خلال تحليل البيانات التي تم جمعها، لاحظنا ظهور ثلاث لغات أخرى إلى جانب اللغة الهدف. لقد لاحظنا وجود اللهجة العربية (العربية الجزائرية) والعربية الفصحى (العربية الحديثة) واللغة الإنجليزية. إلى جانب وجود هذه اللغات الثلاث، يتبين بعد فحص البيانات أنها تحقق، على أساس هدف الخطاب، وظيفتان مختلفتان؛ أحدهما تعليمي والآخر تواصلي بحت. This contribution falls within the vast field of sociolinguistics; it is interested in the analysis of code switching among French-language university teachers. In many cases, the teachers resort to using other languages than the target language in their interventions with students. For this study, we tried to examine the different languages present in the classroom as well as the types and functions of code switching. By analyzing the data collected, we observed the manifestation of three other languages next to the target language. We therefore noted the presence of dialectal Arabic (Algerian Arabic), Standard Arabic (modern Arabic) and the English language. Besides the presence of these three languages, it was found after examination of the corpus that they fulfil, namely the objective of the speech, two different functions; one is didactic, the other is purely communicative. Cette contribution s’inscrit dans le vaste domaine de la sociolinguistique, elle s’intéresse à l’analyse de l’alternance codique chez les enseignants universitaires de langue Française. Ces derniers recourent dans plusieurs cas à l’emploi d’autres langues que la langue cible dans leurs interventions face aux étudiants. Pour cette étude, nous avons tenté d’examiner les différentes langues présentes en classe ainsi que les types et les fonctions des alternances. En analysant les données recueillies, nous avons constaté la manifestation de trois autres langues à côté de la langue cible. Nous avons donc relevé la présence de l’Arabe dialectal (Arabe Algérien), l’arabe standard (arabe moderne) et la langue Anglaise. Outre la présence de ces trois langues, il s’est avéré après l’examen du corpus qu’elles remplissent, à savoir l’objectif du discours, deux fonctions différentes; l’une est didactique, l’autre est purement communicative.
