Emotions form an important and essential part in the psychological construction of an individual, which determines the features of his personality and his ability to think and orientation towards a goal and determine the level of his abilities and energies and the manner in which his life is going. It includes the ideas of the individual and other cognitive activities through the individual's emotional experiences, and involves stimulating thinking by drawing attention to important information. It is the ability to find and use Habits necessary to connect the emotion or employed in other cognitive processes. Mayer and Salovey, 1997, see how we feel how we think. Understanding and Analyzing) Understanding and analyzing emotions involves the ability to categorize emotions into complex emotions, such as an individual's sense of hatred and love for the same person, and sequential follow-up emotions; for example, an individual learns that the reactions of the emotions tend to cause the emotions to tend. This dimension also includes the ability to understand the meanings of emotions (Alwan, 2011, p. 126). Managing Emotions include the ability to manage emotions. And the feelings of others is coming, and adjust negative emotions and feelings and emotions increase the good of them without suppressing or extravagant as well as the ability of openness to feelings and control and regulation are fully encouraged to include emotional and mental development. The present study aimed to: 1) Identify the level of emotional management at the University of Baghdad. 2) Are there any significant differences in the management of emotions at the university teaching staff according to the variables of gender (males and females) and specializations (scientific, human) and scientific title (professor, assistant professor, teacher). Where the current research sample consisted of (300) teaching and teaching staff of the University of Baghdad divided by type (males and females) and by scientific title (professor, assistant professor, and teacher as they were selected from (6) colleges (3) colleges of scientific specializations and 3) The faculties of human specialties either the scale (emotion management), where the researcher has access to a set of literature and previous studies that include this concept and the approach to build a tool to measure (emotion management) where the scale in its initial form of (60) paragraph distributed over three areas are (Openness to the feelings of others, participating in emotions, and balance the nose Then, the psychometric properties of both (sincerity and reliability) as described in Chapter 3 were extracted with the procedures and statistical methods used for this purpose. The number of paragraphs of the scale in its final form reached (53) paragraphs. Thus, the researcher reached a number of results mentioned in chapter four, including the derivation of conclusions and built on the basis of recommendations and proposals. (Published abstract)
